Aaron Paul responds to removal of Breaking Bad toys in best possible way

Let’s just say he ain’t too happy.

LATE TUESDAY, TOYS R Us confirmed that they would be removing Breaking Bad toys from their shelves after a Florida mother launched a Change.org petition to ban the toys.

The toy store told the Associated Press in a statement that the “the action figures have taken an indefinite sabbatical”.

In response to the news, Aaron Paul posted a series of tweets in which he criticised the decision, addressed Barack Obama and called Toys R Us out on their apparent hypocrisy.

The actor then tweeted a link to a petition demanding that Toys R Us keep Breaking Bad toys, as well as other adult toys, on their shelves. That petition has so far gotten almost 16,400 signatures.

Paul isn’t the first Breaking Bad star to weigh in on the ban. Earlier this week, Bryan Cranston delivered a sly burn aimed squarely at the Florida mother who instigated the crusade.

Following the ban, Cranston also tweeted that the Breaking Bad toys had been ‘sent to Belize,’ a reference to the popular series.
