1970s TV ad shows the glamour of Bank of Ireland in New York

I’d like to make a deposit please.

NEW YORK NEW York, city of dreams.

In the 1970s, there was a Bank of Ireland on Fifth Avenue, apparently. Or at least, according to this incredibly enthusiastic television ad from the time.

Check it out, you won’t be disappointed:

It’s the brightest around

It shows faith in my future

Keeps my feet on the ground

It’s the bank for my friends too

Man, it sure made its mark
